Our residential services range from 24 hour support in a licensed agency home, to drop-in support in one of our homes, or an individual's own home. We provide a foundation of love to help our residents overcome any obstacles and disappointments experienced throughout life. Since 1983, we have been committed to helping our participants achieve their goals in an environment that safeguards their human rights, individual dignity and personal well-being. Home Life is a growing non-profit with a Residential Program with seven group homes, Supported Living Programs, and a Vocational Program. Each of these promotes independent living skills and community integration.
Health Care
Once a referral is in place, we can do a meet and greet to discuss services and pick a date to start services. This is a summary of how we have phased in visitations to the homes of the individuals we serve. Our staff are trained specifically to support people who may have difficult behaviors and they work closely with agency behaviorists to develop and implement support plans based on individual needs.

The Supported Living Programs have been adjusted throughout the years to coincide with the needs and wants of the individuals within the program. Individuals utilizing Supported Living Services have chosen Home Life to be their sole support provider.
Clients will work with Home Life staff to develop basic employment skills. We will focus on resume building, best practices in on-site work behavior, attendance, and social appropriateness, along with common entry-level job skills such as customer service, courtesy clerk, and janitorial tasks. In addition to basic employment skills, we offer courses that help clients increase their skills in specific areas such as cashiering or writing.

Assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy active, productive and empowered lives. While L.I.F.E. strives to assist individuals to be self-reliant, we also recognize that some people with disabilities have greater needs and require additional assistance. L.I.F.E. staff are trained to provide for individuals whether that means total care for all daily living tasks, such as bathing, toileting, eating and dressing or occasional support for more difficult tasks like budgeting or vacation planning. Whole Life employees are compassionate and caring individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. They are very experienced, highly skilled and participate in regular and ongoing training for continuous professional development. Since 1987, Whole Life has been partnering with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities to build supports based on their own personal choices, needs, goals and dreams.
A client we were working with had an employer take him under his wing right off the bat and trained him on other tasks without even having to talk to the coach. It is great when this happens because it provides the client with natural support but more importantly they are treated as any other employee, which is what we want to see. Each time I see him at work he is all smiles and giggles, he is happy to have our support in addition to the support he receives from his co-workers.

Teater House was donated to Home Life in 2009 and dedicated in honor of Bob and Dolly Teater in 2011.
LIFE is a unique non-profit program that has served adults with autism, learning and intellectual disabilities for over 25 years. Home Life’s flat at Coho is part of the Coho Ecovillage, a cohousing community in South Corvallis. Coho was established in October of 2007 and supports 3 individuals. Home Life is a second family to many of our clients, therefore, we strive to serve our clients through each stage of life.
They were so great and had welcomed her in such a way that I felt completely comfortable saying “she is all yours”. This was a real success all the way through and a great example of what Home Life Inc. Community Living Supports was started in 2016 and has operated under a few different names since then. Individuals utilizing Community Living Supports have chosen Home Life to be one piece of their support network and typically have other provider agencies or PSW’s to fulfill the rest of their support needs. The team that operates both programs consists of one Program Coordinator, three Program Managers, and one group of Direct Support Professionals.
They have much to contribute to the larger community but might need help with day-to-day tasks that are easier for people without disabilities. Our participants strive to live fun, enriching, and entertaining lives like anyone else! Through donations from people like you we can help bridge the financial gap between state and federal funding and what our clients need to live more fulfilling lives.
